Established in 1960, Metro Hotel is the first government-registered tourist hotel that has been providing comfortable and convenient rooms for both international and domestic visitors. It is fully renovated in June of 2014 and now offers a modern fitness centre. Its prime location just a 3-minute walk from Euljiro 1-ga Subway Station (Line 2) provides easy access to landmarks and shopping areas in the heart of Seoul.

The carpeted rooms at Metro Hotel feature brightly painted walls with wooden furnishings. Each room is equipped with a flat screen TV with cable channels, a working desk and sizable mirrors. Private bathroom features a toilet with electronic bidet.

Exceptional
The location is perfect for first-time visitors to Seoul. It is located a very short walk from the airport limousine bus stop (approximately two city blocks), and in the area of the exciting night market. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and very reasonably priced when compared to hotel rooms in Tokyo at the end of our cruise. We were able to easily walk to all of the sites that we were interested in seeing. Many excellent restaurants near the hotel and the lobby is connected to a Starbucks and a 7-eleven. You can grab a bottle of Soju for your room at the 7-eleven for less than $2.00.

Great location - at the corner end of Myeongdong and near Euljiro-1ga station. Friendly staff. Hotel connected to convenient store. Provided umbrella which is useful on rainy days. Room size is decent.
